I just saw this this morning. I'll have Sierra and her dad respond tonight.
Here's how Treg said to do it. They play on two computers. Sierra uses the desktop and he uses the laptop. We have a wireless router in the house that links the internet on all the computers (ask your dad how this works if you don't know and see if you have this). They choose multi-player. They said you only need one disc. If you want you can call here at night sometime and Treg can try and talk you through it. Good luck. I know he and Sierra have lots of fun playing this way.

I think the answer to both of your questions is yes.
I dont think we can play unless you have age of empires one on your computer. we both have to have the same version of age of empires. If you have one than please tell me.
If you see this before 5:00 your time, then we can play now. (It is Friday) I have to be someplace at 6:15 your time but I can play anytime before then. please tell me if you can play. Thanx
I might be able to play, but we are going to a gameshow taping and we don't know when we will be back. Also, did you mean 4:30 your time or my time because it makes a difference.
I can for sure play tommarrow. I can play anytime after 12:00 my time. If you can play or want to play, then you can call me.
